How to arrive to Bolzano?
From England to Italy
All the direct flight to Verona (closest Airport to Bolzano) are normally from Gatwick Airport.
Fly to VERONA Airport (Valerio Catullo VRN).

By our latest experience, the cheapest way to go to the airport is by car (if you are more than 2 persons). We recently used AIRPARKS.com which cost less then the train for 2 or the taxi (including petrol).

10-15 min bus transfers, every 20 mins (24/7)
As example: from 22/5/2014 to 27/5/2014 the cost is £36.99
From Verona Airport to Verona Train Station
The Aerobus service from the airport to the train station runs every 20 minutes, every day of the week. (visit ATV website)
First stop at 5:35am then from 6:30 am to 11:35 pm every 20 minutes.
Ticket cost: € 6.00 per person (circa £5.10)
Duration: 15-20 minutes
From Verona Train Station to Bolzano Train Station
Inside the train station there are some automatic machine where to get the ticket.
Train ticket that you need is from Verona Porta Nuova to Bolzano/Bozen. (visit Treni Italia website)
Ticket cost: from € 12.00 per person according of what type of train (circa from £10.20)
Duration: from 1:30 to 2:00 hours (according of what type of train)
From Bolzano Train Station to the Hotel
Just outside the train station there is Hotel Regina (suggested by us).
Cross the road, and you will find the hotel walking on your right just after the car park entrance.
Please let us know when you intend to arrive to Italy so we might be able to suggest a particular time in order to organise a direct group transfer from the airport to Bolzano avoiding to use Bus and Train.
